Frontend Developer

About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented Front-End Developer who has a passion for creating seamless user-friendly interfaces. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Autopix and play a pivotal role in our growth!

This role will involve building a brand-new platform from the ground up, specifically aimed at our car clients. You’ll be working closely with our CTO on the back end and collaborating with our UX/UI designer, and the broader technical team.

Your main focus will be on delivering enterprise-quality code and ensuring that the new platform meets the highest standards of modern software development. Your expertise in Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and other key technologies will be essential in crafting a smooth and intuitive user experience.

We’re looking for someone with…
  • You have a solid background in front-end development with 3-5 years of experience
  • A strong understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development) principles.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and related tools to build responsive, high-performance web interfaces.
  • You’re familiar with Webpack or Vite for efficient module bundling, npm or Yarn for package management, and Git for version control.
  • You can effectively manage codebases and collaborate with other developers
  • You have experience with Jest or Cypress for testing, ensuring that your code is reliable, robust, and free of bugs before it reaches production.
  • You have experience working with design tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. You can translate design specifications into functional, aesthetically pleasing web components, and you’re comfortable collaborating with designers to bring their visions to life.
  • You are familiar with and have worked within an Agile framework. You thrive in iterative development environments, where regular feedback, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving are key to success.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with Inertia.js, Laravel Vapor, GitHub Actions, Storybook, or back-end skills like PHP, Laravel, SQL/NoSQL.
You’ll be responsible for…
  • Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Work closely with our CTO, UX/UI designer, Mobile Developers, and Data Scientist to deliver a cohesive and scalable platform.
  • Implement cutting-edge front-end solutions using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • Ensure optimal performance and user experience, following best practices in code quality and design.
  • Work with APIs and state management tools like Axios and Vuex to connect the front end to the backend services.
  • Utilise Jest or Cypress for testing, ensuring the reliability and functionality of your code.
  • Ideally, contribute to back-end development tasks if you have the relevant experience.
